Honda’s newest luxury sedan offers a premium and bolder design, a more powerful 1.5-liter VTEC TURBO engine and the advanced Honda SENSING safety technology.

EXTERIOR

Built on a new platform, the All-New Accord boasts a streamlined yet elegant overall exterior profile thanks to its now wider stance, lower roofline and a dramatically longer and lower hood. Upfront, Honda’s signature chrome wing grille and streamlined wing-shaped headlights full-LED headlights with auto leveling and high beam features highlight the bold and upright front fascia. Combined with chiseled hood and LED fog lights the All-New Accord gets a very distinctive and aggressive presence on the road.

Continuing to the side, the All-New Accord’s lower roofline and sharp upswept bodylines create a stylish yet dynamic appeal with its strong wheel arches and concave door panels further emphasizing its character lines. ADVANCED FEATURES

With the goal of enhancing mobility through embodying Honda’s latest advanced technology features, the All-New Accord implements an array of advanced technologies comparable to those found in vehicles from a class higher. These arrays of technological features not only elevate the All-New Accord in terms technological offerings but also taking driver and passenger convenience to a higher level.

For the main instrumentation, the All-New Accord comes equipped with a 7-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display (left side) that can present a wide range of information and a speedometer on the right side of the instrument package. The TFT display presents various vehicle information with an upscale yet easy-to-read layout.

The All-New Accord now also sports a new 8-inch Display Audio system, which is one of the most advanced systems offered by Honda to date. HONDA SENSING AND SAFETY

On top of the advanced convenience and safety features present in the All-New Accord and to further provide a higher standard of safety for both driver and passengers, The All New Accord now comes standard with Honda SENSING. Using cutting-edge sensing technologies, Honda SENSING system aids

the driver to prevent or effectively respond to dangerous driving situations. Honda’s suite of driver assistive features provides an array of advanced safety features such as Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow (LSF), Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), and Auto High Beam.

Honda SENSING receives information from two different devices; one is a millimeter-wave radar that can be found in the front bumper and the other is a monocular camera mounted on the upper, inside part of the windshield. Both devices work simultaneously to monitor and asses various conditions in front of the vehicle and give feedback to the driver by providing corrective actions to aid in preventing the collision.

With Honda SENSING, Honda aims to provide a collision-free mobility and safety for everyone sharing the road.

POWERTRAIN

Powering the All-New Accord is a New 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine developed under Earth Dreams Technology. This new engine puts out a maximum power output of 190PS at 5,500 rpm and 243Nm of torque from 1,500 - 5,500 rpm. With its higher horsepower and torque output, the All-New Accord is at par if not more powerful compared its 2.4 Liter Naturally Aspirated predecessor. Power is transmitted through a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed based on Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. The engine and transmission provide responsive performance, acceleration and efficient fuel economy. To further enhance driving dynamics, Sport mode is now available which enhances the All-New Accord’s throttle and steering response. This together with the CVT’s paddle shifters give the driver a greater control over the vehicle’s transmission operation and power delivery. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile unit in the Philippines, is pleased to introduce the All-New 2019 Honda Brio as Honda’s entry to the A-Segment passenger car category in the Philippines. This is a response to customers who aspire to own and experience Honda’s signature sporty and practical characteristics in an affordable package.

DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT

Now on its 2nd generation, The All-New Brio was developed based on the grand concept “Proud Over Class”. The grand concept stemmed from the intention to improve aspects of the vehicle that its users need. With this, the All-New Brio was developed to be one-class above its segment with significant improvements specifically with its dimensions.

PACKAGING

Given its compact exterior dimensions, the All-New Brio now gets an additional 60mm of extended wheelbase and 90mm of extended cargo area as compared to its predecessor. This allows the All-New Brio to have a larger interior space that can accommodate a bigger rear seat for a spacious rear passenger cabin and bigger trunk space that can easily accommodate large items while maintaining a compact body size for easier maneuverability.

The All-New Brio boasts a very spacious interior feel. Given the extended wheelbase, the rear passenger legroom now provides a more comfortable rear cabin space with added legroom compared to its predecessor. As for the cargo space, the All-New Brio also manages to feature a well accommodating 258 Liters of cargo space with the rear seats up thanks to its additional extended cargo area. Given its hatchback body style, cargo capacity can be increased to 710 liters with the rear seats folded down. This flexible interior space allows the All-New Brio to carry various cargo given its compact body size.

DYNAMIC AND MATURE EXTERIOR

The All-New Brio boasts a dynamic and mature exterior styling aligned with the “Proud Over Class” grand concept. This aims to provide a sleek and sporty profile emphasizing low center of gravity and wide stance for Honda’s A-Segment hatchback. The All-New Brio sports a strong sporty front fascia that blends with its character lines featuring a Honeycomb Front Grille and Multi-Reflector Halogen Headlights with LED Parking Light Guides, which contributes to a wider look and strong sense of motion with a sporty expression.

At the rear, the All-New Brio now features a new tailgate as compared to the large glass panel found in its predecessor. This allows the All-New Brio to maintain an excellent rear visibility and provide improved body rigidity, which helps improve stiffness of the body structure while providing safety for passengers. In addition, new Rear Combination Lamps with Rear Reflectors are also found at the back of the All-New Brio. The large external red lenses of the tail and brake lights expand to the edge of the vehicle, emphasizing the Brio’s rear wide stance. The All-New Brio sits on 14-inch alloy wheels for 1.2 V CVT variant offering a sporty feeling with its triple dynamic design complimenting the All-New Brio’s sleek and sporty stance.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Interior Design of the All-New Brio revolves around the direction of “COMFORT, HARMONIZE and HIGH QUALITY” which is expressed in its space as well as the high quality interior materials that provide a sporty yet comfortable interior feel. A number of technology features has also found its way to Honda’s new subcompact Hatchback. For added convenience, the All-New Brio now features Manual Air Conditioning with Digital Display. For the in-car entertainment, two different audio head unit options can be found at the center of the All-New Brio: a 7-inch touchscreen audio system for the 1.2 V CVT, and a 1-Din Audio head unit for the 1.2 S MT. The two audio systems, despite their difference both provide a more intuitive entertainment functionality as then allow passengers to connect their devices via Bluetooth connectivity for audio streaming or connect their devices via USB port connection, which would allow various multimedia devices to be controlled through the audio systems.

ALL-NEW BRIO RS

With its popularity as a sport compact car in the Southeast Asian Market, The RS variant was developed to express Honda’s Sporty Spirit based on the Small RS Concept previewed last 2018. The RS variant aims to enhance the sporty exterior design of the All-New Brio, which represents Honda’s vision of a small sporty car. The All-New Brio RS features an aggressive sporty exterior design with its RS Design Piano Black Front Grille, RS Design 15-inch Alloy Wheels, RS Design Side Sill Garnish and Rear Bumper Garnish, and Tailgate Spoiler. All of these added features give the All-New Brio a more enhanced sporty exterior look.

Complementing the enhanced sporty exterior, the interior of the All-New Brio RS also emphasizes Honda’s sporty image. Inside, the variant’s RS Design Interior with Orange Accents is highly emphasized on both dashboard and door trims. Paired with Black Fabric Seats with Orange Accents, this gives the driver and passenger a sportier and high-quality appearance. Further enhancing the overall passenger experience, the All-New Brio RS also features a 7-inch touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity for audio streaming. However, compared to the other variants, the All-New Brio RS features a 6-speaker audio set up inclusive of additional two tweeters which allows a more enhanced audio experience.

Completing the sporty image of the All-New Brio RS, a 2-Tone Black Top RS variant featuring the RS exclusive Phoenix Orange Pearl color found in other Honda RS models, will be available together with other colors for the 1.2 RS Black Top CVT Variant.

POWERTRAIN

Powering the All-New Brio is a new 1.2 Liter 4-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC engine that produces a maximum power of 90 ps at 6,000 rpm and 11.2 kg-m of torque at 4,800 rpm. This is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed based on Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. The engine and transmission combined provide a smooth, powerful off-the-line acceleration and efficient fuel economy for Honda’s new small hatchback. For those who prefer driving a Manual Transmission, a 5-Speed Manual Transmission option will be available for the 1.2 S MT Variant.

SAFETY

In terms of safety, the All-New Brio boasts a Four Star ASEAN NCAP safety rating as it comes equipped with the essential active and passive vehicle safety features. Honda’s G-CON technology enhances impact absorption for the added protection of passengers in an event of a collision. In addition, all variants of the All-New Brio will get Dual Front Driver and Front Passenger SRS Airbags and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard. • In addition to the New HR-V, a New RS Variant is now available which aims to give customers an enhanced sporty appeal of Honda’s compact SUV.

 

Manila, Philippines – Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile unit in the Philippines, is pleased to introduce the New 2018 HR-V updated with modern sporty styling cues and advanced technology features which aim to give customers a stylish capable crossover with flexible utility and convenience elements expected from a Honda. For 2018, the New HR-V will now have a New 1.8 RS Navi variant that will satisfy customers looking for an enhanced sporty compact SUV.

For 2018, The New HR-V now introduces new exterior styling cues. At the front, new features such as a newly designed Front Bumper, Front Grille and Full LED Headlights with Integrated Day Time Running Lights give the New HR-V a signature yet familiar Honda front fascia. At the back, new LED Guide Type Tail Lamps give the New HR-V a more futuristic styling, which not only gives it an up to date look but also makes it more visible on the road. Complementing this updated design is the new 17-inch Sport Black Alloy Wheels, which give the vehicle a more aggressive stance and presence on the road.

In addition to its refreshed sporty exterior, the New HR-V retains its distinct coupe like advanced and sophisticated interior feel with its high center console, which give the driver and passenger that sports car like feel. In terms of features, the New HR-V receives a new 7-inch Touch Screen System now equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for a more intuitive smartphone - infotainment connectivity. Furthermore, the New HR-V is equipped with ULT (Utility, Long, Tall) seats, which allow three different adjustment modes allowing customers to have flexible seat configurations that can be adjusted depending on the customer’s need.

Powering the New HR-V is Honda’s established 1.8 Liter SOHC i-VTEC engine that produces a maximum power of 142 ps at 6,500 rpm and 17.5 kg-m of torque at 4,300 rpm. Mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed based on Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology, the engine and transmission provide responsive performance, acceleration and improved fuel efficiency. Honda’s Eco Assist System, which consists of the ECON mode and Eco-Coaching Ambient Light, helps encourage fuel-efficient driving.

For 2018, a New RS variant will be made available for the New HR-V which gives it an enhanced sporty and sharp exterior design. Outside, the New HR-V RS comes with an RS design Front Honeycomb Grille together with the new LED Headlights. LED Fog Lights are also available exclusively for the HR-V RS and at the side, the HR-V RS receives Dark Chrome Finished Door Handles and Door Trims and a different two-tone 17-inch Alloy Wheel Design specifically made for the RS. And at the back, smoked LED Tail Lamps further enhance the sporty image of the New HR-V RS.

Inside, the New HR-V RS receives additional upgrades which features a Full Leather Interior complemented with Piano Black Accents in the Steering Wheel and Center Console giving the interior a premium upmarket feel. For the RS Variant, the new 7-inch Touch Screen now also comes with a navigation system as standard. Capping off the overall sporty package of the New HR-V 1.8 RS Navi, the Phoenix Orange Pearl color exclusively found in other Honda RS Models will now be exclusively available for this variant of the New HR-V.

To ensure the highest level of safety and customer confidence with the New HR-V, all variants are equipped with advanced and class leading safety features namely the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Brake Hold,Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Driver and Front Passenger SRS Airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
